• HVAC-R Installation Methods: Soldering, Piping, and Heat Pumps – soldering and brazing techniques, basic practices for carbon steel piping, introduction to air distribution frameworks, compressors, heat pumps, and troubleshooting methods for heat pumps.
• HVAC-R Systems Installation, Duct Construction, Maintenance, and Air Flow Dynamics – metering devices, fundamental maintenance, sheet metal duct systems, fiberglass and flexible duct configurations, commercial airside systems, and basic hydronic systems knowledge.
• Advanced HVAC-R Refrigerant Management and System Maintenance – leak detection, evacuation, recovery, and charging processes, securing components, wiring connections, troubleshooting mechanisms, and diagnosing control circuits and motors.
